Spell Jars
Spell jars are having somewhat of a revival
Spell jars are an easy way to enclose a spell which can be placed in a specific place, carried, or worn for love, luck or protection. The ingredients inside will differ dependant on the spell but can include herbs, plants, crystals, salts, coins , feathers and other corresponding items.
Early witch bottle were made of salt-glazed stoneware and traditionally prepared by an individual known either as the village witch or folk healer.
The modern day bottle or jar is first cleansed with incense and salt added for protection
Next begin to add the corresponding items whilst setting intentions for its use
Once this is done place a cork stopper on the filled jar and seal the intentions with melted wax.
Whilst ever the seal is in tact the potency if the preparations magic will remain.
Place the bottle undisturbed in a place where you would like its influence to work
